International Congress of Technical and Technological Training

On November 20, 21 and 22, Ecuador will receive the second edition of the International Congress of Technical and Technological Training (Ciftec). There will be more than 20 academic activities aimed at discussing vocational education.

The first edition of the Congress took place in 2018, in Santo Domingo, capital of the Dominican Republic. Now in Guayaquil, over 2,000 people have already confirmed their presence online, as well as over 300 registered in-person.

The International Congress will have presentations of scientific papers and training courses, as well as roundtables on diverse topics of technical and technological training.

The International Labor Organization (ILO) Researcher, member of the Editorial Board of the BTS, Doctor of Education Jarbas Novelino Barato stands for Brazil. He will give a conference on the topic Development of technical and technological vocational education institutions for industry and the relationship between general education and vocational training. The Ph.D. will also be at the roundtable on the topic of Pedagogical strengthening in the training of technical and technological higher education teachers.
