KCWS 2019 – One of the largest global events on smart cities comes to Brazil

The 12th edition of the Knowledge Cities World Summit (KCWS) – one of the largest global events on smart cities – will be held in Florianópolis, Santa Catarina. Applications are open.

With the organization of the Federation of Commerce and Services (Fecomércio - SC), and World Capital Institute, the conference will be held from November 4 to 7.

Proposals for abstracts, workshops, and presentations can be sent by June 20. Submission of articles for peer review will run until September 15, 2019.

This year's theme is Major Challenges and Innovations for Urban Knowledge-Based Development. The objective is to discuss innovative proposals for urban centers to promote social inclusion by reducing economic inequalities and environmental degradation.

Academics, professional practitioners, civil servants, and policymakers from around the world will attend this meeting. Training sessions in the form of continuous professional education are also in the programming. Sign up for www.kcws2019.com.br
