For Women in Science

Since March 8, it is open the Brazilian edition of the For Women in Science Award, which aims to recognize the contributions of women to science in Brazil and promote gender equality.

L’Oréal, in partnership with the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (Unesco) and the Brazilian Academy of Sciences (ABC), has been promoting the program since 2006.

In the areas of Physical Sciences; of Life (Biomedical, Biological and Health); Chemicals; and Mathematics, seven researchers are chosen and contemplated with a scholarship of R$ 50 thousand.

Some of the prerequisites to participate are researchers who have completed their Ph.D. from 2012 and have developed research in Brazil in the last four years. Scientists from all over the country can submit their papers by April 30 for evaluation. Check the regulation.
