The International Open Access Week 2018

The International Open Access Week comes to its tenth edition from October 22-28 with the theme Designing Equitable Foundations for Open Knowledge.

The global event advocates the online availability of free access to scientific publications. This year's theme discusses how to make the academy fairer and more inclusive as the system becomes more open. As this process becomes standard, whoever is involved in open systems planning needs to ensure that they are inclusive, equitable, and meet the needs of a diverse global community.
